Data mining capabilities

The Polytech LIS offers functionality to get at this discrete laboratory data. User-definable Rules Based Logic, Ad-hoc reporting, patient Cumulative Summary reports with graphs, and statistical reports are all available to help present useful data. Remote faxing is also available.

Comp Pro Med's software engineers write all interfaces in-house. This eliminates problems with unreliable third party hardware and software. Inexpensive Remote Workstations
Polytech can be configured to include remote workstations for off-site laboratories and clinics using standard telephone lines for communications. This enables Medlink to provide a copy of the database on each computer in the network including the remote sites. This is a major cost savings over server based systems that need ISDN or T1 lines at each location. In many geographical locations, these specialized data lines cost ten times more per month.
