| Medlink™ |
Polytech employs an exclusive powerful communication tool called Medlink™. This system allows all patient data to be shared between your laboratory workstations, nursing stations, floor order entry stations, and remote workstations behind the scenes requiring no extra effort on the laboratory or IT staff. Further, it allows you the flexibility to set up your system in a classic Client-Server configuration or networked together without requiring a server.
With Medlink™, your data is replicated on every workstation. If one workstation should fail, all patient data is available on the other workstations allowing your lab to continue to operate. Once the failed workstation is repaired and brought back on line all the patient transactions that have
occurred in the meantime are automatically transmitted to that workstation. No need to manually copy and send data.
